‘Need to invest at grassroots level to become a sporting nation’: Anil Kumble

Former Indian cricketer, Anil Kumble attended the '22nd Odisha Knowledge Hub Series Lecture'. The event took place in Odisha's Bhubaneswar on January 04. While speaking to the media, Kumble highlighted the importance of grassroot level sports. He said, “To become a sporting nation, we need to invest at the grassroots level. This will lead to competition as well as raise the benchmark and help us win medals in the Olympic.”
