Ram Mandir: Akshay Kumar contributes to Ayodhya project, asks people to join him

Actor Akshay Kumar made a contribution towards construction of a new Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya. He tweeted a video, telling a story related to the Ramayana, and seeking mass participation in the project. The Bollywood star is also set to star in a movie called 'Ram Setu'. Earlier, Ram Nath Kovind, President of India, had contributed ₹5 lakh for the project in his personal capacity. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is spearheading fund collection for the temple whose foundation had been laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2020. Watch the full video for more.
