Panipat: Jat community protest against film, CM Gehlot says, ‘dept will examine’

Jat community staged protest against the release of the film 'Panipat'. They objected to Bharatpur king Surajmal's portrayal in the film. People from the community alleged that facts have been distorted in the film. They demanded a ban on the film. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film is based on the third battle of Panipat. While speaking on the controversy, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot said that the respective department will examine the issue.
