Former Pentagon official Michael Rubin commented on U.S. reactions to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to India, noting a sharp divide in Washington. He said Trump supporters view the development as validation of the former president’s narrative, while the majority of Americans—who polls show disapprove of Trump—see it as the consequence of his foreign-policy failures.
