Iran-backed Hezbollah reportedly fired nearly 50 rockets from Lebanon towards Israel’s upper Galilee on the intervening night of August 3-4. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, however clarified that it was not in retaliation for the assassination of their senior commander.
