'Important & consequential democracy': USA lauds India, warns China of sanctions

A senior U.S. diplomat warned China of sanctions if it offers 'material support' for Putin’s war in Ukraine. Wendy Sherman (U.S. Dept. Of state) slammed china for 'amplifying Russian disinformation campaigns'. Sherman said 'China has seen what we've done in terms of sanctions, export controls, designations, vis-a-vis Russia'. Sherman also said the U.S. Would work to help India move away from traditional reliance on Russian weapons.
