Article 371 will not be tampered with: Amit Shah at NEDA meet

Home Minister Amit Shah addressed the NEDA meeting in Guwahati and allayed fears about any tampering with Article 371. Amit Shah said that Article 370 was a temporary provision but Article 371 is a special provision and the right of people living in the North East. The Home Minister also added that even the citizenship amendment bill will not impact Article 371. Shah also spoke on the NRC issue and reiterated that not a single illegal immigrant will be allowed in Assam or anywhere in India.
