Eminent lawyer and former Union Minister Ram Jethmalani passed away on Sunday. He had been part of many high-profile cases such as Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi assassinations, Harshad Mehta and Ketan Parekh stock market scams, Jessica Lal murder case, and 2G case. Jethmalani also served as a member of the 6th and 7th Lok Sabha as a Bharatiya Janata Party leader. Tributes poured in from across the political spectrum. PM Modi said he had been fortunate to have interacted with Jethmalani on multiple occasions. Congress' Kapil Sibal called him a 'crusader in both law and politics'.
