Former Prime Minister of Australia, Tony Abbott, commented on India's move to exit the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). RCEP is a free trade agreement being negotiated by 15 nations, after India's decision to withdraw. Abbott said that he won't be critical of the move, and that India is entitled to act according to its values and interests. He also said that although he is a votary of freer trade, it should be under the right circumstances. Abbott also spoke on the informal Quad grouping comprising India, USA, Japan, and Australia.
