Heavy rainfall batters Pune: At least 8 killed, schools & colleges shut

At least 7 people have been killed after heavy rains battered Pune on Wednesday. Schools and colleges in the city are closed on Thursday due to the rainfall. The bodies have been recovered by rescue teams from different parts of the city. Several cases of wall collapse were also reported from different areas in Pune. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that the state disaster management officials and the control room are in continuous touch with the Pune administration.
