Palaniappan Chidambaram made a dramatic appearance at the Congress headquarters in Delhi. The former Union Finance Minister appeared in public a day after his anticipatory bail petition was rejected by the Delhi High Court and Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate teams had reached his residence looking for him. Chidambaram said the he had not been chargesheeted and that he was aghast that he had been accused of hiding from the law. The ED had issued a look-out notice against the Congress leader.
