Kolhapur deluge: Army, Navy, Coast Guard teams deployed for rescue ops

Massive relief and rescue operations were conducted in flood-hit Kolhapur and Sangli areas of Maharashtra. Army, Navy, Coast Guards and National Disaster Response Force rescued thousands of marooned people. Dam waters haven't yet receded in worst-affected districts of Kolhapur and Sangli. Both the districts are experiencing the worst deluge since 2005.
