Lashkar terrorist behind Sopore attack, threat posters neutralised: J&K DGP
Jammu and Kashmir police eliminated a terrorist associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba on Wednesday. Asif Maqbool Bhat was behind the recent attack on a fruit trader’s family in Sopore, according to J&K Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh. The police chief said that the terrorist also used overground workers to print and publish threat posters to prevent opening of shops etc in the area. Singh also commented on the lockdown in the erstwhile state. The DGP said that all 10 districts in Jammu are now normal, and more than 90% area in Jammu and Kashmir is now free of restrictions.
