At least 14 migrant workers were killed in two separate incidents late Wednesday night in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. In Madhya Pradesh, eight migrant workers were killed in a truck collision. Labourers were traveling from Maharashtra to Uttar Pradesh. Nearly 50 people were injured in the accident. Injured were rushed to a nearby district hospital. In Uttar Pradesh, six migrant workers were killed and four were injured after a roadways bus ran over them. The accused bus driver was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. The accident happened on Delhi-Saharanpur Highway.
