Nirmala Sitharaman wades through waterlogged street in Chennai

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman braved through a water-logged street in Chennai's Shenoy Nagar. Sitharaman was in the city to participate in a walkathon on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 144th birth anniversary and the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. She was accompanied by several BJP leaders. Chennai has witnessed heavy rainfall in the last few days and the weather department has predicted more rainfall in the coming days.
