No threat to Karnataka govt, says Cong’s DK Shivakumar after 2 MLAs resign

Congress leader DK Shivakumar on Monday said that the Karnataka coalition government is safe. “Nobody wants elections at this time,” he added. Shivakumar's statement came after two Congress MLAs - Anand Singh and Ramesh Jarkiholi - said that they have quit from assembly. The exit of these two Congress MLAs has narrowed gap between the Congress-JDS alliance and BJP in Karnataka.
