Watch: Robot used for cleaning manholes in Coimbatore

A robot was used in Coimbatore to clean a manhole. The robot used was demonstrated by city corporation. The machine has been introduced to eliminate manual scavenging and can go up to 20-feet inside the drainage. The Supreme Court had earlier banned manual scavenging in India.
