Restaurants in Bengaluru have been hit due to spike in onion prices. Several hotels have reduced the use of onions and have stopped serving Onion Dosa in the city. Low and mid-level eateries have been mostly affected as onion prices continue to rise in the country. Onion prices touched around Rs 100 per kg. The rise in price is due to unseasonal rains in growing states. Stocks in warehouses in several states have also been hit. Earlier, AAP leader Sanjay Singh had blamed Centre for price hike. Singh said that onion prices spiked due to govt's wrong policies.
