West Bengal cops evict protesters as BJP team visits violence-hit Bhatpara
Days after fresh violence in West Bengal's Bhatpara, a three-member delegation of the Bharatiya Janata Party visited the area. The visit came days after two people died due to bullet injuries and another five were injured in clashes in the area. The BJP team, led by Lok Sabha member SS Ahluwalia, will be submitting a report to party president Amit Shah. On the day of the visit, protestors gathered and sloganeered against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the state's police force. They were eventually evicted by baton wielding policemen.
