The all party meeting called on Monday in Srinagar decided that a delegation would meet the Prime Minister and seek political initiatives to resolve the imbroglio in the state along with seeking independent inquiry into the death of the civilians. The meeting called by the chief minister Omar Abdullah lasted for over four hours. He urged all political parties to come forward and help in restoration of peace and normalcy in the state. Union Minister for New and Renewable energy Minister and National Conference president Farooq Abdullah, dispelled the notions that NC is a failed government in Jammu and Kashmir by saying the opponents were out to grab power by hook or crook.
