BJP General Secretary, Arun Jaitley, on January 29 accused the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of compromising with the issue of national security of the country. The comment came in the wake of recent terror attacks in the country, linked to various Islamist organisations active in the region.
