Cold wave grips northern India

Several parts of North India are in the grip of cold wave. The temperature in India's national capital New Delhi has plunged to 8.4 degree Celsius that was further coupled by the entire city being enveloped by thick fog. Meanwhile, the temperature dropped rapidly in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, and was recorded as low as minus 6 degree Celsius. People can be seen sipping hot tea and sitting around bonfires to beat the chill.
