Court upholds death sentence to a Pakistani

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday upheld death sentence to a Pakistani man convicted for attack at New Delhi's famous 17th Century Red Fort in December 2000. Mohammad Ashfaq, convicted of "waging war" on India, was a member of the banned Pakistani-based militant group Lashkar -e-Taiba.He along with six others, who were convicted in the red fort attack case by a lower court, moved to Delhi High Court in July last year.
