On the 7th the shooters added 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal to India's tally. The Archers won their first medals in CWG ever by winning 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal. In tennis Sania and Somdev entered the Semi Finals in Singles and Bhupathi and Paes entered the Semi Finals in the doubles. Even as Bopanna crashed out of the men's singles championship, Sania Mirza entered the quarter finals in the women's singles.The women wrestlers also began contributing by winning 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.Paulomi Ghatak has entered the finals of table tennis.
