Former Japanese Prime Minister Yokio Hatoyama, who is on a visit to India, on Sunday said that the industrial corridor being executed between New Delhi and Mumbai, would be a model of cooperation between the two countries. Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) project covers an overall freight corridor length of 1483 kms. Japan will provide technical knowhow and extend 73 percent funding to the USD 90 billion project being executed by the DMIC Development Corporation Limited (DMICDC), set up in January, 2008.
