Expectations of voters high, ahead of October 13 polls

As Maharashtra goes to poll on October 13, expectations of voters in Pune city are high from their representative. Residents say that the city, coping with the country's first and highest number of swine flu cases, has a woefully inadequate public transport system. Water and power shortages add to things getting worse. Adding to the woes is expanding urbanisation.
