Financial crunch won't affect military modernization

Pradeep Kumar, Secretary in Government of India's Ministry of Defence Production says that the recession will not hamper the modernisation of the Indian defence setups. He said this on Monday, while briefing the media persons about the forthcoming 'Aero India-2009', the biennial Air Show, organised by the Ministry of Defence. Pradeep Kumar also noted that funds are not a constraint in the modernisation process of the armed forces.
