Floods affect normal life in Punjab

Heavy floods have disrupted normal life in Ropar district of Punjab. The sub divisions of Anantpur Sahib and Nangal have been inundated due to the floods in Swan River in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh. Locals in the region say that the district administration hasn't yet provided them with any help causing a serious threat to their lives and property.
