Food minister Thomas defends Punjab govt

Defending the Punjab government, Union food minister KV Thomas on Thursday said that he has discussed the issue of grains rotting in the absence of storage facilities with the state government and he added that they are managing the situation very well. He also said that he had sent the senior officials to monitor the situation.
