Gay film festival in Kolkata

The lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities in Kolkata have jointly introduced an annual LGBT film and video festival into the city's cultural beat. The two-day fest, which started on June 22, aims to introduce community members as well as other Kolkata people to world class LGBT films and videos with an aim towards increasing awareness on issues and rights. The festival has been organized by the Pratyay Gender Trust and Sappho for Equality.
