Paramilitary troops were withdrawn from tense Baramulla town in Kashmir where they shot dead four protesters to quell violent anti-India demonstrations in the past three days, India's Home Minister, P Chidambaram, said on Wednesday. On reduction of more troops from the state, Chidambaram said that would depend on how soon the provincial government and police will take over the responsibility.
