Communist allies of the federal government, who are major opponents of the Nuke deal with the US, said on March 9 that the government would convene a meeting soon to discuss the issue. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, Prakash Karat, General Secretary of Communist Party of India (Marxist), said that the government was on the lookout for a suitable date to fix the meeting.
