Guwahati shame: Atanu Bhuyan quits

Editor-in-chief of News Live channel, Atanu Bhuyan, has resigned over the latest controversies regarding the girl molestation case in Assam. Bhuyan said that he resigned fearing pressure from the government on him over the matter. Meanwhile, Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader, Brinda Karat flayed Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi for issuing a press release with the name and photograph of the teenage girl, who was publicly grabbed and molested by a group of over 20 people.
