India expects action against protectionism at G20

India expects the G20 summit to act against trade protectionism and also to promote steps to reform international financial institutions, Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon said on Monday. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will attend this week's summit of wealthy and emerging countries in London, which will discuss ways to fix the global financial system and plot moves to revive the ailing global economy.
