India hails lifting of ban on Gita

Religious seers and political leaders in India hailed the lifting of ban on the Hindu scripture the Bhagawad Gita in Russia on Wednesday. A Russian court in Tomsk dismissed an appeal against a Dec 27 verdict by a lower court to uphold a ban on the Gita.
