Indian Navy's UAV crashes before landing in Kochi

An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) of the Indian Navy crashed just prior to landing in Kochi on Wednesday evening. The accident occurred at 7.30 pm (local time) after the UAV, returning from a routine training mission, was proceeding to land at the Southern Naval Command base. The UAV crashed about 400 metres away from the thickly populated Vathuruth area but there are no casualties or injuries.
