J&K govt offers Rs 2 lakh for rape, Rs 3 lakh in police custody

The Omar Abdullah government in Jammu and Kashmir has brought out a compensation chart that classifies rape victims into different categories, as also cases of death, wherein a rape victim gets Rs 2 lakh while a woman raped in police custody gets Rs 3 lakh.
