Judicial panel calls 2004 Ahmedabad encounter as 'fake'

A judicial probe on Monday that reviewed the killing of a 19-year old college girl and three other suspects in a police shootout of 2004 near Ahmedabad, calls the encounter as 'fake'. Metropolitan Magistrate SP Tamang, who conducted the special probe said, the police killed suspects with an aim to gain popularity.
