Kashmir observes shutdown on 67th Independence Day

Kashmir observed a shutdown called by separatist leader of Hurriyat conference, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, on the occasion of 67th Independence Day of the nation on Thursday to press for dissolution of the so-called Village Defence Committees (VDCs).
