Lawmakers play blame game on the blasts arrests

Activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad or VHP conducted a fire ritual in Chandigarh to support monks and an Indian army officer arrested for their suspected involvement in a blast in western India on Sunday. Activists said they have formed a panel of legal experts to defend the blast accused. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP's leader Lal Krishna Advani told a rally in Chandigarh that those accused in blasts should not be shielded on the basis of their religion.
