Lok Sabha, a great shock absorber: FM

The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha held special sessions today to mark the 60th anniversary of the Parliament's first session. Describing the Lok Sabha as a "great shock absorber", Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said that the House had been able to resolve many disputes and tensions.Referring to the frequent adjournments of the House, Mukherjee urged politicos to avoid such disruptions.
