Manmohan Singh invited to form new central government

Prime minister-elect Manmohan Singh said on Wednesday that his coalition had support for a clear majority in parliament after he formally sought approval from the President to form the next central government. On other hand, newly elected chairperson of the victorious United Progressive Alliance Sonia Gandhi also accompanied Manmohan Singh and drove to the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
