Maoists kill a former policeman in Chhattisgarh

Maoists on Sunday shot dead a former policeman in Narayanpur city of central Chhattisgarh. Reportedly, a group of suspected Maoist rebels shot Mangal Dehari near his house in the evening. In another incident on Friday a Special Police Officer was injured during a gun battle with Maoists in the outskirts of Narrayanpur. Chhattisgarh state has been a hot bed of Maoist activities in the recent past.
