Naxals recruiting children

Desperate to raise their strength, the naxals in many parts of India are recruiting children along with tribal men and women. In Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar and Orissa the rebels reportedly mobilize children in the age group of 6 to 12 into their junior wing. They indoctrinate, train and use them as informers against the administration. At the age when they are supposed to get education, these innocent minds are falling in the trap of dreaded naxals. The rebels try various strategies to draft children. They have been destroying school buildings in an attempt to ensure the easy availability of illiterate children for recruitment into their cadres.
