NE people continue to flee despite K’nataka CM’s assurances

Despite Karnataka chief minister's repeated assurance of providing full safety and security to thousands of northeastern Assamese, the panic-stricken people on Sunday continued to flee the state under fear they would be attacked in retaliation for communal violence in their home state. Meanwhile, members of various organizations organized relief work and gave away food packets to passengers when the train reached Bhubaneshwar on Sunday.
