Nirmala Despande passes away

Nirmala Despande, Member of Rajya Sabha the upper house of Indian Parliament and an eminent Gandhian passed away at the age of 79 in New Delhi on Thursday. Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, Vice President, Hamid Ansari and leader of the main opposition BJP, Lal Krishna Advani were seen at the mourning ceremony where they laid the wreath and paid homage to the leader.
