Omar discusses Kashmir issue with Chidambaram

The chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah called on the Home Minister P Chidambaram in New Delhi today to discuss the situation in Kashmir. Abdullah said that the aim of the meeting was to discuss how the state's problems would be dealt with in the days ahead. On being questioned about the role of the army, he said that army has a specific role to perform.
