PM urges security agencies to step up vigilance ahead of 2014 polls

Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, urged security forces in the country to remain alert as there was a likelihood of attempts to disrupt the upcoming 2014 national elections. Addressing an annual conference of Director Generals of Police (DGPs) on Saturday, Singh said that security forces have to be careful in their response to militant attacks.
