President leaves for visit to Russia, Tajikistan

President Pratibha Devisingh Patil set off for a weeklong visit to Russia and Tajikistan on Wednesday. Strengthening bilateral ties with these countries will be on top of the agenda of her visit. Patil is accompanied by Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Murli Deora and Minister of State for Textiles, Panabaka Lakshmi.
