Protests erupt as death toll in Chattisgarh sterilization camp rises to 13

Hundreds of protesters took to streets in Raipur city of Chhattisgarh to demand immediate action against Chief Minister Raman Singh and the state health minister for medical negligence that led to the death of women at a sterilisation camp. The protesters smashed vehicles and entered the schools to destroy property. 13 women died after botched operations at a government mass sterilization camp in Bilaspur district.
